Bro. Jimmy

Bro Jimmy is a graduate of Texas A & M and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has pastored several churches in the surrounding area,  and has been pastor of FBCM for 17 years. Bro. Jimmy has a huge heart for evangelism and for the lost of the world, the state, and the community of Merkel. He is active in local community organizations. He is married to his wife Dorothy and has two sons Johnny and Joel, and a number of grandchild.

Dorothy Griffith
	Dorothy Griffith is Bro Jimmy's wife and is a secretary at FBCM. She is an important part to the ministry work that takes place at FBCM. She has been by Bro. Jimmy's side through thick and thin, and is the first smiling face you see when you come into the church office.

Roy Davis
	Roy Boy is custodian and yard man at FBCM. He has also lived a good amount of his life in Merkel. Roy has been on the FBCM staff for a while now. Before serving as custodian, Roy served as music director for 20 years before retiring from that position, although he still has to fill in from time to time. Roy is an energetic adult man with a passion for Jesus, he is a great asset to FBCM.

Wes Henson

Wes came as our Minister of Youth and Education in May, 2007. He married Mica on June 12, 2004 and is expecting a baby girl in the weeks to come. Wes graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, and is currently in his second year as a student at Logsdon Seminary. He enjoys the privilege of spending time with students and getting to know them, and has a strong desire to see students grow closer to God in everything they do.
