As I write this article, Pre-Teen Camp and Youth Camp are filling up. There is still plenty of room, but time is running out. If you would be interested in going to Youth Camp with us, please drop by the office and fill out a Youth Camp form so we can plan on you going.
July is going to be a great month. At the end of the month we are going to be doing our Mission Trip for the summer. We will be going to Wingate July 27-30 and helping them do their “Just for Kids” Bible School. We will start having planning meetings in the weeks to come, so be checking the calendar for meetings to come.
Please be in prayer for the next two weeks. With Pre-Teen camp and Youth Camp, be praying for the camp directors as they try to wrap up final details, for the kids we are taking so they will be open to what God has in store, and for the leaders that we will have energy and wisdom to help situations that arise. Thank you so much for your prayers and your support.

Amy’s Anecdotes
Heyyyyy guys J July has already been off to a great start! We are taking an abundance of kids to Pre-Teen camp, so be in prayer that God will move in their life during camp and pray for the sixth graders especially that will be coming up into the youth group next year.
Youth camp is a’comin’ up and like Wes said, spots are filling up quickly so get a form on Wednesday or come by the office for one. The theme is “Can You Hear Me Now?” with the theme verse being 1 Samuel 3:9. We will have a glorious time!
VBS went very well and we appreciate all the youth and workers that helped. Wingate is coming up at the end of this month, so be in prayer for the kids we will be encountering there. Hope you’re having a great week! Happy 4th of July!!!

♪ A Note from James ♪
“Thanks” to everyone who shared with us on Fifth Sunday Singing. Thanks especially to Jill and the Meadows for their excellent support. We had a great time singing praises to our Lord. It was good to have a good number in Choir on Sunday. Most of the choir members are present by 8:00 AM and stay for the 10:45 service. I am so grateful for their loyalty. When you see them around church or town, let them know how much they are appreciated.
The Vacation Bible School report was so heart warming. Congratulations to all who worked so hard to make it a successful VBS.
This weekend is holiday time. There will be lots of excuses for not attending bible study and worship. We all need to make a special effort to be in our place at FBC expecting a blessing.
